If you have never done a rally, the unknown is the scary part. So here is the whole day at DRIVEN, start to finish, so you can picture yourself in it.

Morning: briefing and flag-off

You arrive in Bengaluru, collect your route book and settle your crew. Before anyone moves, there is a full briefing, so you will know exactly how the checkpoints and timing work. Then the flag drops and you roll out with hundreds of other women, cars and bikes in separate categories.

On the road: route book and checkpoints

Your navigator reads the route and keeps time while you drive a comfortable target average speed. Hidden checkpoints along the way record whether you are exactly on schedule. It feels less like a race and more like the best-organised road trip of your year, with a scoreboard. There is a break on the route to eat and breathe before the run home.

Night: back in, and the celebration

You are back the same evening for the part everyone remembers, food, music, stories swapped between crews, and prize distribution. First-timers on the podium is the rule here, not the exception, so do not be surprised if it is you.
