DRIVEN did not start as a movement. It started as one day in 2017, when a group of women in Bengaluru decided the road belonged to them too. Six editions later, more than 800 women have flagged off with us, and DRIVEN is India's original all-women car and bike rally.

How it began

The first edition proved a quiet point loudly: give women a route, a car or a bike, and a reason, and they show up in force. First-timers sat beside veterans. Hatchbacks ran alongside superbikes. And the format, a precision TSD rally rather than a flat-out race, meant everyone competed on equal terms from the very first checkpoint.

Six years of growing louder

Each edition added something. More riders. New routes out of Bengaluru into the countryside. A bikes category that grew every year. Press coverage that stopped treating an all-women rally as a novelty and started treating it as a fixture. Through all of it, one rule held: DRIVEN is run by women, for women, and won on skill.

The cause never left

DRIVEN was never about the prize money. By default, the winner's cash prize is donated in her name to a registered cause she believes in. She keeps every trophy; the money goes further. It is a small idea that has quietly become the soul of the event. You can read more on The Cause.
